Green Meadows put in a walkway and graded out part of our lawn. They did exactly what they said they would in the time frame they specified at the agreed upon cost. Walkway looks great, lawn looks good. We have some additional work in our backyard that we are considering, and if we ever decide to get on with it, will be using Green Meadows if they have the space for us. I definitely recommend giving them a call if you are considering any work on your property.

What can you say about a project that far exceeded your expectations? In our first meeting with Scott from Green Meadows, he discussed our goals and made some suggestions. Within a day or two, he created a video (complete with birds chirping and waterfall splashing sounds) which showed what our yard could look like. His choice of trees, flowers, and other plantings was gorgeous.
From the friendly, efficient work crews who cleaned the area spotlessly after each day’s work to the timely fashion in which the project was completed, everything was just perfect.
The painstaking construction project was amazing to watch as 1,000 pound boulders were meticulously placed (and sometimes replaced) until the water feature was exactly as Rich, who created the waterfall, had envisioned it.
The resulting backyard is breathtaking and is more than we could have hoped for. Visitors to our yard are awestruck by the beauty. Working with everyone at Green Meadows was a pleasure. They were responsive and caring. Anyone considering a landscaping project could not do better than working with Green Meadows.

I had Green Meadows renovate our pool patio. Scott was always extremely responsive to all our needs and did all he and his team could do to keep the job progressing - even thru a blizzard and Covid. The patio came out phenomenal! Green Meadows also redid some landscaping around the pool so this is our haven now. When all the trees started dropping their stuff, Scott and his team came to power wash all the gunk so the patio would look great. Thanks again for a terrific job !

Scott & Gary you and your team were excellent. Thank you we are enjoying our backyard on a daily basis. For those of you looking for a good review we are in a ranch and had a rotted deck and old pavers. They got rid of that and put in a beautiful paver patio. We have a sitting wall my kids absolutely love. Mike and the crew were extremely professional and Scott and Gary can be reached at any point if needed. I just completed a public sculpture project called Swords To Plowshares for the Borough of Oakland.
The entire Green Meadows team did a fantastic job providing: design expertise, suggesting materials and most importantly installing the seat wall and pedestal for my sculpture.
They took a tremendous amount of care to skillfully custom cut the pavers around the irregular shaped base of the sculpture.
They really nailed it! I couldn’t be happier with the results!

We used Green Meadows for a landscaping project at our home in Mahwah based on recommendations from our son who had previously used them for several projects at his home. Scott was very responsive and visited several times to work with me a develop a suitable proposal. His team including Gary and Mike where very professional and appeared to welcome my hands on input to fine-tune various aspects of the project as the work unfolded. The landscaping and planting work was not inexpensive but hey, you get what you pay for and the quality was top notch. I will definitely use Green Meadows again.

I just had my backyard completely renovated by Green Meadows Landscape Contractors. I don’t usually write online reviews, but I had to write this review regarding the incredible and well thought out job that Green Meadows did for us. They have totally changed how my family will use our outdoor space going forward. From the incredible new patio and walkways to the elegant retaining walls, the process from start to finish was truly amazing and Green Meadows made it simple and easy to understand with no surprises. In closing, I can’t talk enough about the workmanship to detail and the consideration the crews had during the project, truly outstanding and rare these days. I would recommend Green Meadows to anyone looking to remodel their outdoor space. They had some great ideas for my home and saved me money as well!

I've been with these guys for well over 6 years and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Professional, competent, friendly- all of them, regardless of with whom you're working with. I look at them as family, because they all treat you like that. They stand by their work and are committed to finishing a job well done. Green Meadows did a fantastic job with our landscaping project. We planted trees, shrubs and perennial's for privacy along our driveway. Scott was a real gentleman and is extremely meticulous in his work. He is very knowledgeable with design and knows what works best , taking into consideration plants for sun or shade. Scott also took the time to go down to the nursery with me to pick out a few trees to make sure I was satisfied. Scott is extremely punctual which is important to me and always does his best to work with your schedule. His crew, Teddy, Antonio and JR are hard working guys and very nice. They make the job seamless and stress free. We could not have asked for a better landscaper. Over the years, they have done a fabulous job on every outside detail since it was new construction and needed not only the basics but we wanted the extras also in some cases. In some instances, they redesigned areas because of our changing needs. We constantly receive compliments on our house and are extremely proud of the work Green Meadows has done. They did our paver driveway, waterfall, custom, outside bar, rock walls, plantings, stone pillars, stonework on house, lawn maintenance, and much more. Rich, Scott and their meticulous crew are always available and always want to make us happy! I would never choose another landscaping company.

I have been in the commercial construction business for 38 years. I recently contracted with Green Meadows to bring up to code my driveway and retaining wall. I also hired a 3rd party engineer to design the new retaining wall and provide construction drawings and specifications. Upon providing Rich Goldstein with my drawings for bid, Rich reviewed them with his staff and quickly discovered inconsistencies and errors in the wall design and layout. Rich took charge and contacted the engineers and worked out the issues to provide value engineering to the design as well as a better end product. With Rich and his staff's expertise and experience, the design and project was scheduled and implemented. Rich designated Bill Geiler as his on-site Project Manager and construction coordinator. The project went off as promised and Bill was on his game. He double and triple checked every dimension and layout. He discovered errors by the survey layout team and quickly remedied. The on-site staff was respectful and professional. Rich periodically stopped by to insure that his level of standards and quality were adhered to. Green Meadows provide an on-time job with the highest quality and professionalism that I ever experienced. Job well done, and highly recommended.
